FAQ

HOW DO I BOOK A LESSON?

Please contact us to book an assessment session so we can advise what group your little one needs. As we want to ensure we give your child the best possible learn to swim experience, it is really important to assess your child to ensure they are placed in the correct group for them. You can find contact details here.

WHAT IS HAPPENING DURING THE ASSESSMENT SESSION?

It is your chance to get to know us! We will show you around the pool, help your little one through the assessment which will take 10-15 mins in the pool and then confirm with you the group they have been assigned to.

CAN I ATTEND THE LESSON WITH MY CHILD?

Yes, we allow 1 parent/guardian to 1 swimmer ratio, to reduce footfall in the building to follow social distancing.

WHERE DO YOU TEACH?

At the moment we teach only in Francis Holland swimming pool but we can also arrange lessons in your own swimming pool.

DO YOU PROVIDE PRIVATE OR GROUP LESSONS?

Both, we provide group lessons with maximum 4 kids per class, private lessons and one to two lessons. For our adult swimmers we offer only one to one lessons.

DO YOU TEACH BABIES AND TODDLERS?

We teach age 4 and above in the Francis Holland School. Baby lessons are only available in your own swimming pool.

DO YOU WORK ONLY ON SATURDAY?

At the moment we operate only on Saturday but we will open new slots very soon for Sunday 9am - 1pm and we already accept reservations for it.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO ENSURE MY CHILD IS KEPT SAFE?

The pool will have a ‘single use’ policy meaning only Swimmer's Corner lessons will be running. Teaching stations will be spread out along poolside and they will be delivering lessons from the poolside. We have also reduced class capacities across the board where appropriate to enforce social distancing. We are following guidance from the governing bodies to ensure our lessons and pool are always Covid-secure.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS FEELING UNWELL OR EXPERIENCING COVID-19 SYMPTOMS?

If you, your swimmer, or a member of your household or contact bubble displays symptoms outlined in government guidelines of Covid-19 then we ask that you follow the recommendations in government guidelines, and do not attend your lesson. You can call or email us to let us know you can’t attend a lesson.
